About Superfactory Ventures LLC

Superfactory Ventures LLC grew out of the original Superfactory.com website, founded in 1997.  As the website evolved into one of the premier manufacturing excellence knowledge portals, other services and unique investment opportunities also presented themselves.

Kevin L. Meyer
President & Founder

Kevin has over 25 years of manufacturing management experience, beginning with five years in the consumer lighting products industry with Osram Sylvania.  He then held multiple positions for 10 years at Abbott Laboratories, where he was involved in products ranging from advanced sensor catheters to electronic drug delivery systems and precision injection molding.  Later he moved to Newport Corporation as Director of Operations for the photonics test equipment manufacturing facilities, which was forced to close during the telecom downturn in 2001. Kevin then founded Agilonics LLC, a specialty contract manufacturing business focusing on emerging technologies, which was sold in 2004. He is currently President of Specialty Silicone Fabricators, which provides specialized contract molding, extrusion, sheeting, and dipping of silicone for medical devices.

Kevin is on the board of directors of the Association for Manufacturing Excellence, and also holds board positions in startup and turnaround companies. He speaks at a variety of business events and conferences, and writes almost every day on the most-read manufacturing blog, Evolving Excellence.

Superfactory is located in beautiful Morro Bay, California.
